This evening I have attended a briefing from the UK Health Security Agency and Wakefield Public Health Team. They have issued a letter to provide advice for parents and carers on symptoms and treatments for suspected and confirmed cases of Group Strep A (GAS) and Scarlet Fever for schools.

Please take time to read this letter carefully and follow the advice. In school, we shall continue to ensure good hygiene such as hand washing and using tissues.
If we have 2 or more confirmed cases in school I shall let you know using the school APP.
