Y6 Transition Information- Kettlethorpe High School
The transition team from Kettlethorpe High School have been working extremely hard to make sure that the year 6s are fully prepared to begin high school in September. Mrs Helks is speaking regularly with Miss Shute to ensure that we can make the process as smooth as possible. Year 6 Curriculum Information for Parents
Year 6 Long Term Plan
Pale blue or white round neck t-shirt
Navy or black PE shorts or PE skirt
Tracksuit and trainers to wear for outdoor PE lessons - this can be any colour/style to help reduce costs
Please ensure all PE kit is labelled with your child's name.
PE lessons for Year 6 are on a Thursday and Friday.
Reading books need to be in school every day.
Homework is handed out on a Friday and needs to be returned by the following Wednesday.
Spellings are handed out on a Friday for a spelling test the following Thursday.
Homework will be set from the children's SATs revision guides. Each week, they will be set pages from their reading, GPS and maths books. It is essential that children return their homework promptly as it is marked together in class.
