Unfortunately, we have had 3 positive cases of Covid-19 in our Year 3 class amongst pupils and staff. Therefore, we have reduced the size of this bubble to single classes with enhanced cleaning. We will continue to liaise with the Wakefield Public Heath team and pass on any advice they give us.
At this stage, we are asking parents to be vigilant if our child has any Covid-19 symptoms, including a headache and sore throat. Lateral Flow Tests are also a good indicator for children who may be asymptomatic.
Please continue to report any symptoms or positive cases via telephone to the school office between the hours of 8:30am – 3:30pm and to the admin inbox admin@mackiehill.wakefield.sch.uk at any other time including weekends.
