As the term comes to an end it is important to look back and reflect upon the remarkable achievements the children have made. They have returned to school during a global pandemic and worked exceptionally hard, whilst having a lot of fun along the way. Staff have ensured learning has been to a high standard and that current Covid-19 restrictions do not hinder learning or the experiences we offer. We are one of only a few schools in Wakefield that has not had any ‘bubble’ closures so thank you for following the rules and for swift communication to report any household illness.
This afternoon we shall enjoy our traditional 12 Days of Christmas Celebration (virtually) and I am expecting a jolly visitor in his red suit to wave goodbye to the children as they leave. Have a wonderful Christmas and see you all in the new year.
