Opening Times

Nursery and Reception doors open at 8.45am.

Y1 and Y2 doors open at 8.40am and children enter via their classroom doors.

Y3 – Y6 are greeted by their teachers at 8.40am and line up in their classes on the key stage 2 playground. They are then led in by their teachers and doors close at 8.45am.

Lateness

Y1-Y6 children arriving after 8.45am are marked as late and should enter school via the main office.

Nursery and Reception children arriving after 8.50am are marked as late and should enter school via the main office.

We kindly ask that all parents/carers are off site as soon as possible, to allow us to lock our side gates at 8.50am in the morning and 3.30pm after school. Please also ensure that you close the external gate fully behind you after use.

Summer Updates 

It has been a busy Summer in school, with total renovations to our Nursery, Reception and Year 5 classrooms. Our EYFS outdoor area has been completely transformed, and we cannot wait for our children to experience their learning in this space! This space must only be accessed during the school day and should not be used by children before or after school. We have also invested in all new storage and equipment for the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds including water areas, role play toys, bikes and trikes, trampolines and much more.

Finally, we have strengthened our internal and external security systems, including adding external maglock gates. Please click on the photo to understand our new access points. Please note that the two gates marked in yellow will be locked at all times during the day, with access only granted after 8.20am for drop off and after 3.00pm for pick up (30 hour Nursery parents will be met at the gates at 2.45pm). Both gates marked in yellow have an intercom system if you need to speak with or access school at any other time, this system can be answered from the hall so any wraparound drop offs/pickups will be permitted, as long as your child is on the prebooked register. Pay particular attention to the fact that will be no access into school via the staff car park, as both these gates will be locked at all times (marked in red), so please do not use this car park at any time.

Mrs Robinson will be in touch regarding After School Clubs and P.E days later this week. There will be no P.E this week whilst we settle children in.
