"Pupils are proud of their school. Their good behaviour and positive attitudes make a strong contribution to their success."
Ofsted January 2013
At Mackie Hill Junior and Infant School, we are proud to have a well-stocked library which has recently been updated, reorganised and restocked. Each class has a timetabled, weekly slot when they visit with their teacher to exchange books. Each child can take home a book from the library and exchange it for another in their next class library session, recording books borrowed and returned in their own page in their class library folder. There is also an opportunity for children to visit our school library as a family after school each half term. Some children in Year 5 are library monitors and they are doing a great job in keeping our school library looking neat and organised!
